Mt. Pinatubo is an active stratovolcano located on the island of Luzon, near the tripoint of the provinces of Zambales, Tarlac and Pampanga. The eruption in 1991 killed hundreds and damaged thousands of homes reaching even the nearby municipalities. The effects of the eruption were felt worldwide.
Today, Mt. Pinatubo is one of North Luzon’s most favorite destinations of adventure-seeking tourists coming from the different parts of the world.
Gear up for a dusty and bumpy 4×4 ride as you approach your way to the volcano. You will be greeted by the canyons of lahar formation while the sun is on its way up, at the end of the two-hour trek is a worthwhile experience you’ll surely cherish.
